What can I claim.

I have been having a nightmare with a company over some invoices, I will try and keep it short.

Contracted some work from a company I have worked for over a few years, always on 14 days payment terms.

Started first week, second week had other contracts to sort so back on it with them for the third week. Now at the end of the third week I should have been paid for the first week.

No payment come through went in to see them and was told that I was on 30days. I put the company on hold as it is nothing we agreed and saw it as a delaying tactic.

30days later no payment in the end took 35days from the day it was meant to be paid 01/10/10 to 06/11/10 £672.00

Second invoice much the same took 28 days from the day it should have been paid so 15/10/10 to 11/11/10.£ 708.00

Now I have had to pop down to their office where they have hid and made out they wasnt their until I pointed out I saw them then they just closed the inner door lol, ignored emails and phone calls, finally got the money out of them but have incurred interest on overdraft fees to cover this money etc..

Is there anything I can claim for against them i.e interest if so how much for each? have tried to work it out but not sure how to do it and dont want to send something wrong into them.
