Interest on Statutorary Charges

Off my rocker I may be but on advice I have done this and been paid.

I just wanted to see if any one else had interpreted the legislation in terms of the exact wording, which I was advised allowed this.... At least on a theoretical level.

I agree with James, there can be no question of chargeing interest on the compensation charge.

If only businesses would understand the workings of the basic legislation and take advantage of that without trying to confuse themselves.

That we should add interest to the compensation charge from the time we have claimed it - right ?

Even though you have been paid this - was payment court directed or was this settled ?

I would think settled.

As Ed says it does add confusion, if we can only get the first sorted.

I'm still away, posting this from abroad.

Just have some time on my hands so thought I would check out the forum.

You know I think it would be worthwhile holding some face to face get togethers to see where people are on this , whats the chances ? Any benefit in a meeting ?
