Thank you David, that would be most helpful.For the record and information of other members of this forum.
The French introduced Law No. 2008-776 on the Modernization of the Economy (the β€œLME”) which was passed on August 4, 2008 . The LME imposes payment terms of either,
60 days from date of invoice or 45 days end of the month for domestic sales.
And in Spain an implementation transition period has been allocated as follows,
From 15th of July 2010 to 31st of December 2011 the payment period will be 85 days.
From 1st January 2012 it will be reduced to 75 days.
As of the 1st of January 2013 it will be indefinitely to 60 days.
These transition periods however will not be applicable to perishable or fresh products; a strict 30-day payment due-date comes into effect immediately.Regards, Jim

Is it not the case that the late payment legistlation extends to the whole of the EU?
