With apologies I am now advised by a clerk on the moneyclaim online team - who is not even aware of what statutory entitlements are - that the online services can be used for any money owed even if there is no invoice.

So I stand corrected. Apologies for my misdirection. However, until I know that someone has done this successfully I will continue to use the non online procedure.

Basically the gist being that the Compensation and Interest are paid *first* and that the principal is only partially paid off by their actions. The invoice continues to accrue interest on the residual amount at the original daily rate of the principal.
