Hi, thank you for reading

I have one company in particular that continuously likes to pay late, they are a big national company and seem to think this is acceptable, all my invoices state the quote regarding late payment charges.

My question is how do i claim this please? Do i provide another invoice with the amounts of £40 + interest?

Payment of £216 was due on 15th October 2012 and is still due now. They have another invoice due Monday 5th November so im sure this will incur the same problems.

Thank you in advance for your advice, this website has helped tremendously with other companies

Hello Deane and thank you for the compliment.

You do not raise an invoice, yon make a claim in writing.

First use one of the calculators to work out what you are owed. There are 3 versions.

Basic : Free to use but basic output.

Standard : £7.00 for unlimited use for 1 year. Better breakdown of the calculation.

Advanced : Does all the work for you including creating the claim letter and tracking the daily interest.

If you use the basic or standard calculator, then use this template letter to make your claim .

It will probably be worth having a look through the users guide to understands your rights to claim interest and compensation.

I hope that helps and good luck!

Regards

David

Hi All, I have a company that I provide services for, they are a large company and each department is responsible for receiving invoices and raising PO's etc. However it all goes to a central accounts payable department. To whom do I write to claim the late payment, the respective departments or accounts payable??

cheers Ed
